Littles

I'm pretty sure we could change this world if we would act a bit more like three year olds. Nap when we're tired. Stop eating when we're full. Say how we feel, often! For the most part, I find little ones to be much easier human beings than adults. Watching a three year old throw a temper tantrum when things don't go their way is a very different picture when an adult does that!

Always I knew that my life's work would be with children. At first elementary education. But a switch to the child development field sent me in my true direction, working with the youngest children and their families. In-home childcare. Then the preschool classroom. Then, accidentally, Children's Librarianship. The best accident ever! I wasn't qualified for the position I applied for, but life seems to oftentimes have it's way. Thank goodness.
